Anybody have any experience with Helly Hansen rain gear? I have heard it is awesome.

I've got a old rain suit by them, like 10 yrs or older, and wasn't all that impressed with it. suggest you get some gore tex instead.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

Did either of you have the breathable waterproof stuff? Or, just the PVC stuff you can get at Bass Pro?

mine was a nylon type rain suit, it's just ok, but you would be much better off looking for some gore tex suits on sale, $200 will get you a good/decent gore tex suit that will keep you DRY.
