    put in at shanee bend bout 10 am (water temp 39 deg) , ended up with 30 keepers by 2pm. crappie were really bunched up today. we started out on secondary points w pea gravel chunkin a cork and jig caught several at 3ft on the bank . bout noon found a lage school in front of a condo dock 6 ft deep over 25 ft of water- we caught another limit in about 15 minutes on a cork. great day for mid feb. i just wish the cold fronts would NOT hit on my days off. no big ones ,but they sure tasted good tonight!

    great report, sounds like some of them crappie just did not know it was Feb.... I have not caught any shallow in a few weeks,,, glad you got on them and enjoyed your supper of fresh crappie,,,, they just taste better fresh fried...
