flint creek temps are in the low 50's. can't help with the vertical stuff, i've been pushing and pulling. we caught at least 80 pulling on thursday. it was a busy 2 hours.

Newbie to the forum so hello all. My brother lives in gurley planning on bringing my dad down so we can teach my bro how to haul some slabs. Dad and I are from IL so we could definitely use help from some local knowledge. We mostly vertical jig not set up for spider rigging besides you just cant beat the thump of a hawg on the line. We were thinking of trying flint creek or indian creek next week or the following just wondering if anyone had info on water temp and if they are biting at all?

Thanks for the info. I finally did post on the alabam forum still figuring out crappie.com cant believe i waited so long to sign up alot of good people!
