    That is some nice casting.

    Crappie on the fly.

I usually hit the local pond with a 4 wt rod with a rio mainstream 4wt line. I like to use a small chart woolly bugger with a strike indicator, or a 100 oz jig in chart or white with a strike indicator.

I am going out tomorrow with the 4 wt rod and going to carry a floating line and a 150 gr sinking line. Going to be fishing some small jigs and small clouser minnows. Both in chart.

Very nice casting, esp with the spey rod which is always fun to use, I use mine for steelies and salmon. I use a 4 wgt rod with wf5f line when doing most of my warm water fishing. I find bdheads in size 10 (olive or black) flash a buggers extremely effective. Trim off the body hackle b4 using and it flashs like a minnow, if retreving, do it slow, very slow. Most of the time the crappie/gills will hit the fly on the drop b4 a retrieve is even made.

I have done well on them, too. Thumbs Up

There's no need to get too complicated with bream.

Amazing video and awesome casting. Guess I am gonna have to learn that double haul and quickly.
I love taking my kids fishing, now if I could just manage to fish at the same time.

I used to cast pretty decent, broke my elbow 3 years ago, so now just so so.

I don't cast very pretty, but I cast a HELLUVA lot!
That really helps in the fish-catching department.
