Kentucky is a great hunting and fishing state so I am glad Cabelas choice a KY location.

Kentucky is the #6 B&C buck state in America right now.

Kentucky is a top 10 Turkey harvest state.

KY has a wild Elk herd of over 10,000, which is the largest east of the Mississippi River.

KY has 1.7 million acres of public hunting land.

KY has over 400,000 acres worth of public lakes. KY also has the Mississippi River, and the Ohio River.

So I think the Louisville, Kentucky location is a good choice.

I live about 3 blocks from the Boise location. They have some VERY nice deals sometimes, particularly at this time of the year when they're blowing out seasonal stuff and items that have discontinued or changed packaging or they aren't carrying in the new catalogs. I picked up two 125 yard spools of 14 pound Fireline original fused there the other day for $7.50, then found out at the register Berkley has a $5 rebate on both. Not bad for a line that normally costs $17. The only difference between the ones at normal price on the site and the ones on clearance is different packaging.

Plus you can get stuff from the catalog and web site shipped to the store for free. Only downside is you'll have to pay sales tax on all your purchases if they didn't have a location in your state before.
    Don't worry, catch crappie.

Abit of a drive but I will love to see it. I hate bass pro. Everytime I go, they never have anything I came for and customer service is alot crappier than it use to be. Place reminds me of walmart. I order all my stuff from Cabelas or Gander now.

Life has many choices, eternity has two...choose wisely.
