Any information about hte White Bass run up the Sabine (2012) ?

Headed back to Louiana in a few days to fish with my Dad on the Sabine.
I was wondering if anyone had been fishing on the Sabine looking for White Bass yet this year.
The White Bass run up the Sabine vaires like everywhere else, but when they have a good year, I can't imagine it being any better anywhere else.
I'm sure we will have a good time and I'm hoping to catch a bunch of fish as well.
I'm pretty comfortable with the how to do it aspect of things, but would appreicate any information about general area and general quality of the bite.

Our trip was fun, but not really as successful as I had hoped it would be. Too quick a rise turned the water to chocolate milk. Watch the river level and when it heads back down,fishing will get great.
