Default Riggin' With Jerkey & John

Met Mark (JerkeyLog) and his buddy, John, at the lake this mornin' and went spiderrigging for my 3rd time in my life. I'm not very good at it but I sure had a good time. Mark prolly got tired of telling me I had a fish on. I think we had 20 in the livewell when I had to leave to get back home for work. Missed several good fish and caught several shorts as well. Makes me want to put racks on my tub. Thanks again, Mark & John.

It will never take the place of feeling the "THUMP" two pole slow trolling or dipping trees, but it certainly is another "bullet" for the magazine or "weapon" in the arsenal. Didn't think I would enjoy doing it, but I do. Sometimes I think I overthink things too much and sometimes I don't think at all.

I seen your car at the ramp when we out in and it was gone when we left. Figured you had to work. We did well also until we ran out of minnows that were alive. Started with about 1 1/2-2 dozen that were alive when got to the lake out of about 6 dozen. I left Mark a note on his truck when we left. Glad you had fun rigging Bob. There is times it can put fish in the boat when nothing else works. Great for scattered fish that are moving into spawning coves/areas.

You will get better the more you do it, Think of it as a tennis match watching the ball (scan left, scan right). It can be fast and furious at times and relaxing others. Glad you got out beats working.
