    Default Riggin in the rain

Started out spider riggin at about 8:00am in 18 fow. Catching fish right from the start, seemed to hook more dinks this trip than the past few. When the rain started it seemed to slow down a bit. Would hook one here and there. Went further in the creek to some shallower water with no luck, we had been fishing 6 fow to 12 fow but today we had to stay in the 18 to 20 ft. range. Water temp. was 39. Color did not seem to matter. Left at noon it was getting a bit windy, brought home 23 good eaters.

Sounds like a good morning. Rain or not. I am going to try and get out in the morning to try out my new trolling rods.
