    Default Hey all!

Hello all! Signed up an account a few weeks ago. You guys seem like a good bunch! I love crappie fishing and just about any other fishing that requires a rod and getting my boat out.

Got a question! Is it legal to drag brush from the banks that is already rooted up or broken of laying on the ground? Or does it matter what lake you are in?

The corp of engineers will tell you not to do it so if you do,don't get caught. In fact ,I think you are suppose to get a map of the lake and send it to them telling them where you want to put brush at and get a ok b-4 you put anything in a lake. The best thing to do is check with them first.May save some headaches down the road.

Welcome Duky. Like the others say, some lakes allow placing brush, but you are supposed to get permission and (at least at Smithville) you are supposed to give a general location. They might want you to anchor it down well and place it in at least "x" feet of water. Most don't want you to disturb the shoreline, tho. Good fishin to ya.
