Talked to two of my buddies down south this afternoon. On lives in Pearl River LA, crappie are starting to move into the banks. Caught a limit today (50), kept 10. Another buddie lives in Meridian MS. Water temp today was 58. Caught a limit of 30 spider rigin. Biggest was 3.25. Don't you feel sorry for those guys having it so rough in Feb?

In our government-controlled schools we are taught that Lincoln was our greatest president because his war ended slavery and saved the Union. As usual, the other side of the story – the side that reflects poorly on the government – somehow gets lost. – Richard J. Maybury, The Abe Lincoln Hoax

Wonder how the timing stacks up to the "norm" down there? Is this early, late, or right on time?
