    Default Hunters first 14" crappie

My 5 yr old son, who's name is Hunter caught both of these fish himself, and both were the biggest of the day. I tied on his fly and set the depth on his float, and he put on his minnow, cast it out , hooked and reeled them in. I did have to snap him out of a day dream (playing in the minnow bucket) a few times to let him know that his float was gone but, other than that he done it all. He says that his rod, an Eagle Claw spinning rod/reel combo is just the best rod in the world now. LOL!! He sure makes me proud. Anyways, here are some pictures.

SO SO SO SO great! Way to go Hunter! Keep the kid fishin'. You are doing a great thing with the boy. I appreciate it very much. I have four kids of my own and we fish together every chance we get. It is the most precious time that we get as a family and they all look forward to going. Thanks again for introducing our youth to the greatest sport on earth!!!
If people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles.
