I've got two, ten footers, that I use as part of my arsenal. They are a stout rod, but the rod tips are plenty forgiving. I wouldn't want to hold one all day, but to push or pull of any kind, they're just fine.

Check out Academy. I picked one up today, in Edmond, Ok, for $3.88. The tag showed it marked down to $19.99, but it scanned at $3.88. That is what it rang up for. It was the only one left.

I did the same in Auburn alabama. I have 4-12s . 2-11s. 2-10s.. I wish I'd have gotten every one they had...I love them..they are stiff but make good pushin and draggin rods..Strong enough for whitefish and green bass too. I have fought plenty of them the past few weeks.. For 35 bucks 8 rods..yep they are great rods even at 20 bucks compared to 36 bucks and up for other b n m poles. Bites are easy to see tightlinning and pullin they do a slow bend..

My son and I just got three of them ourselves, they seem to be a good pole. Hope to find out this weekend.
