Question about Wateree South Carolina

Wondering how the fishing is and how good of an area is Little Wateree Creek landing .I have fished the Beaver creek area before that's the only place on Wateree i have fished.My home Lake is Santee..Thanks for anyone who can help me.Also which direction to go when i put in at the landing and whats on either direction.

possum ... you'll likely get more information if you post this on the South Carolina state forum. No problem with asking on the Main Message & Newbie forums, but many members only frequent their home state forums or state forums where the lakes they fish are located.

I've fished Lake Marion twice, back in the 70's ... caught some fish, saw a gator & water moccasin, had a storm come thru & break my tie up ropes and push my boat back into the swamp, where it made its way between two trees & went nose first into the bank & swamped. Found it the next morning, dug the prop out from the mud & pumped the water out ... & it was good to go.
Second trip I was tent camping ... temps got down to something below zero, so we slept in our clothes & snowmobile suits with a Coleman lantern & heater going full blast. Saw Roland Martin taping a TV show, fishing in the canal.

Yea i was raised up fishing around the Tail Race Canal Area Angels landing and Harry's and so on just wanted a changed .But now i am mostly a River fisherman.But being Winter time wanted another Lake to try thanks
