They're mostly used for catching bait in saltwater. I've never heard of them being used for something the size of crappie. If you use them, be careful. Those hooks are tiny and sharp. It's very easy to hook yourself.
My dad told me today a guy in his hunting camp fishes for specs using larger sabiki rig with the little imitation shrimp.
This is a new one on me. How about you guys. Have you done this are heard of using sabiki's?

I spider rig with them some time, they work! I use the largest ones I can find but the hooks are a little small but they still catch crappie

I have used one of those rigs fishing for crappie under a bridge with my green lights. Worked pretty good and caught nice size fish. Use a net to land the fish.
I have never used them for spec fishing, but I use them all the time to catch skipjack for catfishing. They work great for that.
I have used the larger size, did ok but not well enough to use em instead of jigs.
I use em to catch skipjacks on the river
Yep, hang a minnow on each hook and you cover a 6' piece of water column.

This is a new one on me, has anyone got a pic of one?

Make sure they're legal in your state. Indiana allows only 3 hooks per rod.
