    Default Time for new licenses

It is time to get your new licenses for fishing & hunting. Got ours today. Don't get caught without them. Been getting checked on the water a lot more in the last few years. MT is where we get checked the most. But did get checked on the Missouri this winter.

Two things Mr. Mongo............(like you need to take advice from a 28 year old)

#1 - Not that it really matters to me when we get checked (I like seeing the boys doing their job and protecting the resource) but you will find that majority of the time you're gonna get checked on the lower end of the lake (Lick, Dry, Big/Little Indian)...more traffic = more checks. We've gotten checked once since I've been fishing there above the 107 bridge.

#2 - Get yourself a crappie counter from OSS or someone that might still have a few for sale.......I fished Truman with Jimbo one day and he gave one to me....really handy for keeping a good count.

I'll take advice from just about anyone, I've learned in my 65 yrs there's always someone out there that knows more and willing to give advice (takin with a grain of salt )
As far as the counter goes I Have one, and do I feel stupid, I had it with me Still no reason to come in with over a limit..I guess we all make mistakes ( well I do )
    I Don't Know,but I can always use help
