I am not a historian, but I believe I read an article about the Straight of Hormuz. I recall from the article that the location of the straight was once bridged by land. I also recall something of an earthquake that collapsed this land and the water from the Indian Ocean filled the Persian Gulf area thus the story of Noah. Not an impossible summary as this is the area. Could you imagine a 500/1000 foot wall of water that filled what is now the Persian Gulf? No wonder them Muslims are spooky about this area.

Wonder what 'ol Al Gore woulda thought about it? ha
