Deep water winter crappie

man what a day 12 keepers on white river roaring river arm, man this winter fishing is all its cracked up to be fish deep slow and dont worry about the wind cold rain and no other nuts out there, good day all day yesterday only 6 and then and now only fishing deep did any good . all the females today had little or no eggs, yesterday all were full of eggs.

Oh no my luck has found it's way down there, sorry beagle man. My brother used to have a sigh on his bedroom door that said " Cheer up things could be worse. I did and it was". Had a rough one myself, laugh it off and keep at it. Works for me...izzy

you know izzy I do not mind the slow fishin I do not mind fishin in the cold rain can even stand the wind but not all at once and in april what a day 8 yesterday all deep and what a day 68 dg. water 69dg. air slow fishin deep in the trees 20ft. water 6 to 10ft. deep it will get better and if it dont winter is just 6 mo. away cast them beagles and let the race begin
