Arcadia: one or two fish caught a trip, but should pick up first week of may, traditionally arcadia is the last lake to spawn in this area. last year we were catching them spawning on memorial day and it has been that way for the past 4 years. when it does happen fish the two coves up by the prodject office

    Hefner ..
Anywhere along the boat docks has been good to me last week or so.
People talk about the rip-rap near the restaurants but I have never tried that spot yet.

the prodject office is off of second street three miles from I-35 by the dam, you park at the office and walk down to the lake.

Fished last night on the south side, set my slip cork to about 18 inches, and tied off 2 jigs, one chartreuse one pink and white, caught fish til it was too dark see the hook. If I was keeping could have easily limited out..

I fished docks at hefner most of the day (police station side) and netted only 7 crappie all female.

Over on the south side fishing peer, along the bank is alot of rocks.. I've fished 4-5 spots over there and been productive in the late evening near dusk and early morning dawn.. they seem to come in real shallow, bout 2 ft deep.. hope this helps, it helped me :P
