Thanks for the post Shane
Good that you found some, wind is not much fun.
Today I got to slip out from work early and go fishing with my friend Craig Johnson for 2 hours. The winds were very strong but we gave it a try anyways. Got to the first brush pile and smack. Nice crappie. Fished the pile for about an hour and caught some nice Hawgs... Water temp was 38ish and the depth was 14 over 16. Dirty water and did I say wind... Dark colors was the key.. Cleaned 10 nice fish and Craig cooked them up on the grill for my B-Day. What a day!!
Haven't been posting as I haven't been out lately...
Thanks for the post Shane

WTG, happy B/D, glad you got out and found fish.
Happy Birthday.
Cool that you got some fishing in on your Birthday, not very often you can fish in 60deg weather on your Birthday in Kansas.
Hawg Slabs, good friend makes for fine B-Day. Did they they hit the Wasshoppah!
Happy Bday and congrats on the fish. Thanks for the post and the pics man.
Great pic's and report , sounds like the perfect B-day.
Life is good today.
Nice slabs!Happy B-Day.
WTG and happy birthday. I know that Craig is a great fellow but to take him fishing and then to not let him catch any fish and on top of that he cooks them for you. It sure doesn't look that good on how you are treating him. It all goes to show that a good day fishing isn't necessarily always about catching.

Hey you know when the weather is kind and we are on the water that is the thing. Enjoying being outside and out the door in the wide open spaces.
For just me when the weather is not so kind I really like to be catching not fishing IMHO makes the pain of foul weather worth it.
