Saying Hello - Milford Lake

Wanted to just log on and say hello. I live on the west side of Milford Lake. Been here about 10 years now....military brought us and we retired here. Fished the lake for the first 5 years chasing bass then just just got tired of it and sold my bass boat. Recent decided to start back after sitting on my porch and watching the boats and guys fishing. So I begged a little....ok a lot, and we bought a Lund Explorer for me, the 7y/o, and wife to chase crappie, whites, and wipers with. Looking forward to it.

As I never really chased the crappies while bass fishing, I will be paying attention to to the good input from guys that chase them. I am most interested in just relaxing and making sure the 7y/o gets addicted to it. The other 3 boys in HS and college, they are addicted to chasing girls......maybe fishing as long its fishing using the Xbox controller.

Welcome aboard! West side of Milford.....must be a Wakefield Bomber!! Nice location.....Milford is a nice lake and supposed to be good for crappie this year.

Welcome! We have been talking about coming to fish Milford for years. I really hope it happens this year. What a great lake to live on. Lots of fishing options. Look forward to hearing from you.
