    Default Windy day on truman

Met Newt at 8 am just north of Springfield and headed to truman.Wind was pretty bad.Fished across from the ramp at Bucksaw along the bluff.Brought home 6 and caught around 20 or so dinks.Caught mine on a 1/32 oz.white head jig with a red eye and electric chicken bobby garland using a 7 ft.sam heaton ss.We saw 3 or 4 other boats there.Don't know if anyone did any good or not.We fished in water from 17 to 26 ft. We were in a red tracker 175 and we definately was there.Didn't take no pictures, nothin to write home about just a good time on the water.Beats workin, but when ur old and don't work anymore guess u can just fish if you can get the fuel to go.

Given your report and what I had to do today I'd say you definitely had the better end of the stick. Appreciate the report, good job!

I bet that was you that passed us going north on 13 this morning, you ought to hear all the bad names I was calling you.We were heading to a job and you were going fishing, just didn't seem right. The worst part is we are right next to the lake and I can't stand it.Glad you got out and enjoyed the weather, don't get this every year.Maybe the bigguns will bite better next time you are there. Thanks for the post.
