Great pictures, could of been about anything but there are several walleye in that area
Took a day.
Loaded the kayak... AND THE PADDLE!!
Launched at Shawnee, paddled over the cliffs perpendicular to the dam. Caught nine, all over 10. Chatted with some older fella bank fishing. Gave em to him.
Had to stay close to the damn to get back to the ramp, wind picked up something fierce. Being in a kayak and seeing 76' on the graph... funny feeling.
On the way across to the clifffs I spotted a hump in 35-38' of water that jumped up to about 25'... looked like fish were holding all over that thing... what do you say... walleye, cat?
Did some more area recon... found some interesting caves. These are close to Hay Creek.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

WOW! Great pictures!! Yeah, 75' under a kayak would be a bit unnerving to me!!! I've never been in a kayak though either. Again, nice pics!!
Cool pics of those caves.Thumbs Up I couldnt fish out of a kayak....not near enough boat for me. Sounds like you did good though. Congrats on the catch.
