    Thumbs down Table Rock

Tried something different and put in at Baxter. Some guys said they were biting off the docks.
    No Crappie caught on Docks.
No Crappie caught in 4 ft down to 35 ft.
No crappie on breaks or points, slow trolling or casting.
Three fish. 2 Largemouth and a Smallmouth.

    So much for something different.

I'm nearly 100% sure if I fished Truman with the same pattern we would have many, many crappie in the livewell.

    We're the crappie active?

Bull Shoals isn't any better. I went saturday and fished several different areas. Only caught one 12 inch crappie off a brushpile in 15 fow. Very dissapointing. I grew up fishing muddy stained water, these clear water lakes have me going nuts.

I grew up on muddy lakes in Illinois. These clear reservoirs are totally different.

Thanks for posting guys. Makes me feel better.
Good to see we are getting some guys from this area posting.

Kit, sounds like you should have hit those new brush piles you put in at Aunts Creek. You'll get em next time.

Yes these lake are totally different, but i'm gonna figure them out one of these days. I'm going to start building some boo structures to sink and hopefully have some go to spots. It sure can't hurt. It seems like everyone around here that fishes these lake for crappie mostly do it in the spring when its easy. I want to able to fish them year round, it just get discouraging when i talk to my brother who fishes reelfoot wapp and grenada.

if it was easy everyone would do it and there would be no room for you on the water, better luck on your next trip....
