    Cool Melvern 01-29

Great day to be on the water. Thanks to propanejohn we even caught some fish. We kept 30 for the skillet probably could have had a limit if we were into measuring fish. Fished on channel breaks around brush, fish holding on and around the brush, most fish caught were suspended at around 14 right on the break from 15 down to 25 or so. Started out using wht/chart, slab slayer, was effective early, when bite slowed went to a blue/char 2 inch tube, that seemed to help also a nibble was helpful. Okay get out there and enjoy.
