Went up on the main lake today for the first time in two weeks and man was it clear i could see 10' plus, needless to say i caught few fish shallow most were on main lake points and docks they were 4' deep over 12' to 20' i think i'll try it after dark one night this week anyone been fishin after dark? with the water this clear maybe they are moving shallow after dark.We did end up with two limits of real nice fish but they just wasnt in the typical spawning spots.

You would be the man in the know!
LAKE OF THE OZARKS.....OK......Thanks. Now I feel really dumb......
You are not kidding it has been so clear this year its like my bathtub!!
I think the fish will spawn fairly deep and after fishing this past weekend I was still cleaning fish full of eggs which tells me that water 3-5 ft deep isnt warm enough for them to do their thing yet but wont be long
I agree.
