looking for guide on kentucky lake (northern)

want to plan a trip to kentucky lake to hunt for some of those slabs. have never done it before so i would like to hire a guide for a day or so. any suggestions? also we be looking for lodging and such

You might be too late to hire a guide, but check on here : Kentucky Lake Fishing Guides Page - Ky Lake Guides, Ky Lake Crappie Fishing, Smallmouth fishing, Bass fishing .... and you can also post this question on the KY Forum. Depending on when you plan on coming down, and the water/weather conditions, you might also want to keep an eye on the KY Forum for a KY Lake Shindig (meet/greet/fish/eat get together) that's likely to occur sometime in April. You wouldn't need a "pay to play" guide, as there'd be enough locals attending to put you on some fish.
