We seen some guys back on a cove using minnows spider rigged, they were pullin them in pretty good. We were kayaking and using jigs, it was tough.
8:00 am, foggy, damp, NW wind and cold! No cars in lot first clue Went down fished bluffs, bluff points, creeks, creek mouths, even my honey holes!!!!!!!!! Sun came out and was a lot warmer, but the fish quit bitting. Every time we caught one we thought we had a pattern figured out Ended up the only pattern we figured out that there was none. Every fish we caught was on a different color, at a different depth, on a different structure. The fishing was great the catching was a little slow Saw one other brave sole down past the cut through! One more truck in the lot when we left, when is the catchen gonna get better?

The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
I'm not up on the names you guys call coves, but if you go left from W hwy, where the river hooks right the cove is in the curve. My first time back in there. We also tried up off sparrowfoot, no luck.

Sound like a rough day but still beats working for sure.
Atleast you got to fish. Congrats.
Another month or so and we will be complaining about how our thumbs hurt. Slow days make the good ones that much better.
