Had a shu morning

I had a shu morning. bangheadThe first time I've been able to hit it since the slabfest so I charged the battery, fresh line on all the poles, and loaded the boat reday to head out early this AM. I got as far as I-4 and realized I hadn't put my rod racks on the boat! Too far to turn around so I went anyway. Threw some jigs at the bank for a hour or so and came home empty handed...zip....nada....etc. Wasted morning for sure and I don't know when I'll get another chance this week.

On a side note: They're STILL in the lake...pontoon pappy got his limit yesterday right where we lowered the water level at the slabfest and that was where I was headed this morning.

Sitting here wondering if i should go this morning, can't tomorrow so probably will. Sorry to hear about your poles and the nada, may get to Monroe next week. 2 of us caught 18 stripers Tuesday so i guess i'm gone to sit there a bit--shu
