Nice looking boat! Welcome to the group

Greetings fellow yak anglers.
I've been fishing out a yak for a while now, but somehow never put that together with crappie fishing. Even though I haven't fished for crappie actively since I was a kid, I'm ready to put my boat to good use in hauling in some slabs! I hear there's some good water around for catching them (Midlands of South Carolina).
Thanks for all the tips, mod ideas and reports. It's given me a lot of good information that I'm eager to try out.
I fish out of a Wilderness Systems Ride 135. Up until now I haven't had a fish/depth finder on it, but I figure I need one to help locate structure where the crappie are hanging out.
Again, thanks for all the info, and I hope to see you on the water.

Those Rides are sweet... rides. Looking forward to more kayak reports this year.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.
I've caught a bunch of crappie from my Ride 135. It's a sweet crappie machine. You need to learn to use an anchor and anchor trolly. It's the secret to catching crappie for me.
