    Default Any stockton news?


    Going to get out any sink brush sunday and after that do some fishing. havent been out since waterfowl season started so anyone got any tips on color or depth or structure to start at?? will most likely put in at old state or state park.

    Well since your putting in brush, you wont be wasting gas, but fishing is pretty slim, Was talking to Darrell this AM and he said couple guys from monett got cancelled on a fishing trip with a stockton guide, because the fishing sucked real bad,,, talked to a couple others that went yesterday,and it was bad all over...

    I think it sucks right now.i heard 3 were there saturday and sure didn't do very well at all.And i believe they were around the state park area.I know last week wasn't good for me and Ray.we went and didn't get none but 2 guys from walnut grove gave us 20.

    pretty sure it's the weather, just not cold enough long enough to concentrate the shad into there normal gathering balls, they are scattered out all over the place and the crappie are scattered out too. I would suggest try some flats, slow trolling, drifting arround, maby some trees are holding a few,,, some shallow brush on the north banks will be a good spot to try,, good luck

    Thanks guys.... beagle do u have any of the new "little red devil" slab buster jigs or any of the new colors with the glitter? if so where can i buy them around springfield?

    I do have a ranger CC So I am betting it was me I do a lot more fishing than I do catching. But keep trying
