    Default New use for a dental pic


    Next time your at the dentist ask him or her if they have any old dental pics, the ones they use to scrape teeth when doing your regular checkup. They make a great eye cleaner on small jigs that still have paint in them. The pic is made of a very hard metal and usually both ends have very sharp point. I keep one in the tackle bag and one in my box of stuff for making jigs.

    Also good for tying on barrel swivels, Like a helping hand. Makes it much easier to hold and keep from spinnin

    I believe you can buy them at Wal-Mart too. That is a good idea, thanks for sharing.
