Default 10 " size limit on Griffin

Anyone going to the meeting in Leesburg at the community center? They are going to discuss
a decision to put a 10" limit on Specks in Lake Griffin.
In my opinion this is a baby step. I would like to see an adult step and put a 10" limit on the Harris chain.
It seems to me to make sense to cover all the lakes in the chain rather than single out one lake.
Certainly need all the help we can get to improve the fishing in Little and big Harris. We are having to travel to the St. John's to catch any fish this year.
Several of us from lake Harris Shores are going to the meeting to make our desire for the entire chain to
    have the 10" limit.
Would welcome any comments on this proposal.
The meeting is on Wed. eve at I believe 6:00.

Think the 10 " should be good for all lakes

Should be 10" for whole chain and won't impact my catch as have had a self 10" minimum for years.--shu

Great stuff Joe...so glad you guys are attempting to help the chain by advocating for a size limit. I love it!

10" from a boat would be good. I would hate to tell the old timers fishing with unbrellas and canepoles on the bank that they couldnt keep em unless they were 10".

Interesting. I would like to know how it goes at the meeting. Been trying to get some DNR folks up here to listen, but been falling on deaf ears. Good luck.

X3!!!!!!...I fished the Harris chain when I lived down there and a 10" limit throughout the chain would be tremendous to boat and bank fishermen and women in just a couple of years.
