Speck Fishin Bonus Today

Stayed in this morning and did not go early. As we started taking some fish, my 1st was an 11" and then the wife caught a 15" and 13" back to back. Just continued to do what we were doin and ended with 10 that we filleted.

The bonus beside real nice specks was watching a bald eagle come and harrass and small group of coots, they paniced and started making all kinds of noises, the Bald Eagle swooped in and took a coot hiding in the grass and he flew away to a nearby tree.

Incredible it was. Thanks be to the Lord for all of His Blessings

Seeing an eagle is ALWAYS a treat for us. We dont have many here and theyre never here for long when they do come. Congrats to the family on the catch.Thumbs Up

The 15" speck would likely win the ladies division in the Shad and Crappie Derby. Everyone is invited to join in - FREE Catch, Photo, Release tournament (release crappy into hot oil if desired). The prizes are 5 first places for shad, 5 first places for crappie. Ladies, Kids, Conventional, Pro, and Fly divisions.
