    Default Tub Man

I was at Marrowbone Lake in Joelton Tn. today fishing off the bank caught a few small Gills nothing to write home about. When I was leaving met the Gerry House (Aka) The Tub man and Kelvin Emery. Mr. Peppers (lake manager) Grandson. Tub Man fishes on a big tube with tub in the center he sculls and is a very nice 64 yr gentleman. Cane polls and crickets and very good at catching gills. Kelvin put his fish in the cooler altogether 125 fish with a crappie or two, a bass and catfish total of 35 1/2 pounds not a bad day. This is not a fluke he catches lot of fish all the time.

Now that sounds interesting, I'd like to see a picture of that.

I have never seen anyone fishing from a tube. I have been tempted to buy one, but scared people would laugh me off the lake. One particular lake I fish, to my belief, it would be better than a boat. To many big limbs and stumps for a trolling motor to hit.

    good looking pictures.

Thanks. Wonder how many know what sculling is? He gives most of his catch to others. Wears me out just thinking about it I would have to take my doctor with me. He gets there at daylight and fishes most of the day.

I have watched other guys tube fishing. Looks interesting but not for me, I will keep saving for a boat someday. Now sculling looks like fun once you get in. But I think it is a little fast for trolling. Might try kayak fishin some day.
