Did you have any luck at Lake Mattoon this weekend? It looked like there were 2 fisherman to every fish. It looked like you couldn't even put a trailer in the parking lot, guys were parking their trailers down the road. I watched one fisherman after the other come up through the cove I live on. I am glad I didn't have to put my boat in but I didn't fish much. We did catch a few crappies and a few channels but this lake isn't that big with all of the pressure it's getting. I may have to load up my trailer and try some other spots, it is getting too crowded around here.

Mostly just relearning the lake. Caught several small fish. was trying to get away from all the traffic on shelbyville and walked into heavier. There was appearantly a bass tournament going on. Been about 5 years since I've been on Lake Mattoon.

Was a great day to be on the water regardless.

I am not going to say much about whether I catch any fish or not in the future. I think the posting of catching a few just makes more folks come to the lake. It isn't that big of lake for all of the pressure it gets.
