There are people who have never caught one that big!!! Lets see some pics!!! Most people would mount that one!!!
I Biggest was 3 pounds 10 oz by MY Scales 5-6 years ago on Clarks in on the SC/GA. Border . Its a VERY Worthy Fish no Doubt about it !! , I Mount ANYTHING over 3 pounds !!
Let's see it, baby. Anything over 3 is a masterful trophy anywhere in this great USA. Like you gave, 18", I also like to do the lenght thing simply because pre or post pawn will vary the weight but the lenght is constant depending on the season. So, no matter the weight, 18" crappie is definately a trophy.

I caught this baby in a Kansas lake about three years ago.
Nice kci. Tell us a little about your self. Where ya from? Welcome to the site.
Hey Bluejay,
That crappie was taken out of a 30 acre private lake near Osawatomie Ks. The adverage crappie was 14"-15".
About me-I pretty much gave up fishing for a few years because of "fishing burn out" but now I am back. I sold my boat back then and now have to walk the banks. I live in Lee's Summit Mo and fish several bodies of water nearby. I pretty much know my way around Longview, Blue Springs and Prairie Lee lakes. I have a spend a decent amout of time around Warsaw Mo. on Truman Lake and the upper end of Lake of the Ozarks.
I also have a lot with dock on a lake near Odessa Mo.
