Can't help you now, but I will be there in 2 weeks until the first part of April to help my dad with some repairs around the house and hope to get in some time on the water. Good Luck when your there.

well I havent been there so far this year but my uncle was there a few weeks back and they had stopped hitting near the rim canals and day times .
The only reports where in the main lake and out from the grass.. We have had wierd weather this year being in the 30s and back to the 80s next week so might have the fish patterns screwed up..

i made big error when responding to you yesterday. you said kissimmee river fished
out about a mile..........my pea brain associated that with lake kissimmee, inturn
i started to tell you where to go in lake kissimmee, not the "big O"

Most people that i know when fishing the big o, usually fish the north end of lake
and go up the kissimmee river from the lake.

Also i have been told that parts of the rim carnal are excellent.............might
try early morning or evenings fishing next to the reeds inside the lake near
shore line..........single pole jigging with live minnow on tiny cork

sorry about original answer i gave you.
