Fishfinder question

I have a Humminbird 718 that has dual beam 20 & 60 degree beams. It is on the trolling motor
and I use the split screen showing both daul beams a lot.

If I add a second unit the Humminbird 570 down inaging with 16 & 25 degree beams WILL I MISS being able to see area of lake equal to the water depth (15' of water 15' width of beam).?? With the DI unit you only see area about
1/3 rd of water depth. (15' water 5' beam width) I fish brush piles upto 25' deep.

Would like to hear from anyone on what thay thimk of the down imaging unit. If I win the lottery I'll buy a S. I. unit.
