what made you chose the 195 over the 18..its 6 inches difference in length and same hp rating..are layouts different?

yep check out the overhead view of the 195, i wanted the bigger livewells with minnow buckets and the 3 pedestal across the bow. Plus if i remember correctly the 195 give u a bit more sq ft on the deck.

Not a direct answer to your question but I will add that I have a 2006 lowe 180 stinger with a 115 optimax and love it. It has 3 peds on front deck, front a rear livewells and huge front deck that is very stable. It handles rough water very well and with the 115 runs about 45-48mph top end and goes a long time on a tank of gas. I crappie fish 99 out of 100 trips to the lake and have fished from it many times and don't know what I would change for crappie fishing set up.

yeah i am antsy about getting it rigged, dealer is gonna use it as his showcase boat at his show Mar 2, 3 ,4. Got everything sitting there waiting ready to go just waiting on the boat lol. Except the 858c DI i wanna put on the bow, gotta get the 788ci HD DI sold first.

I have a 2004 180W w/90hp Johnson. It's a great boat to crappie fish out of and rides well for a alum boat. Will run 45 to 48 mph.
