Just read some good news on another site that Possum lake will not be drained but will remain at it present level until the dam is fixed...

Just thought I'd share that with you all..

I only saw that they put the creel limit regulations back into effect so everything doesnt get caught out, which hopefully means maybe it wont get drained completely and when they refill it there will already be some fish there and they wont have to start from scratch by stocking fingerlings of bass and crappies

It wont be lowered any further... The plan is to keep it at its present level(below the leaks ), and repair the dam's leaks.. The only sucky thing is that I dont think there'll be much of any hydrilla growth for this year.. Thats about it....

Yeah, and theres no way possible I cant get my boat in there. If you have one we can carry down let me know. I dont know if the crappie will do much spawning this year though with how screwed up their surroundings are.
