don't know of any....most all the American brands are all being made in China now
I was considering buying another spinning reel (not that I really need one but I have a Bass Pro Shops gift card and a bunch of points to use) and the thought of buying one that was American built crossed my mind. All I can find in a quick search is Ardent and Penn but they are in the $100-$150 price range. It seems there are some manufacturers of fly rod reels here in the states but not much to choose from for spinning reels. Anyone know of any others?

I have no idea about their quality or price, though.

Oops.
Penn is in the process of moving production of most of their reels to China except for the higher end International reels. You might be able to find a new old stock Spinfisher out there that were amazing little reels.
It's so crazy that all the big companys like nike, bass pro just to name a few sending all the work overseas for cheap labor when our economy is doing so bad people losing jobs .if we all lose our jobs who do they think will buy their stuff GREED gonna take us all down sorry to say it.
Ardent Reels appear to be made in the USA. Follow the link and read the second paragraph. They look interesting.
