    Default First time out

Well I loved the new boat, however it was a little easier to tip than I though it would be. With my big butt driving by my self I have to sit in the middle or it leans a little much. Even with my wife in I have to cheat my seat a little left to ride even. I think I will still like it a lot and do love the 4
    stroke.

OK now the fishing, my first cast I caught a crappie, not a keeper (about 9 1/2" long), but maybe a good sign huh?

I got a few on my old favorite Red/Green/Chart Roadrunner, but as soon as I changed to some new hand tied jigs silver head/blue body/Chart tail feathers(made by a guy on the crappie TFF, Matthew Carroll) and I started picking up some really nice slabs. We didn't fish very long, but probably caught 25-30 and got 12 nice ones to keep. Didn't even got out this AM until about 9:30 and was back home with fish cleaned by 1:00.

Going to make it earlier in the AM.
