    Default Hi-Teks

I've read some of the posts about Hi-Teks verses others, everyone seems to really like them. I like the looks and functionality of them, and they are less expensive than most others. I do have a couple of questions that I didn't see posted though.

    1. How sturdy are the mounts, do they wobble any or are they tight and solid?
    2. If the 18" vertical piece is too tall for my set-up, can it be shortened?

I ask #2 because I have a center console with a tiller handle Riptide and I'm thinking 18" my be a little too tall and interfere with the TM handle.

    Thanks,

Mine haven't moved when fishing in 2-3 footers. Once you cinch them down on the base plate, they don't move.

Very solid indeed. I've had mine for over a year and they have never moved or loosened.

I spoke to Scott this morning and asked him a couple of questions, then placed an order on his website this afternoon. Looking forward to getting the holders and trying some spider riggin!
