Had a great time, Todays slabfest Monroe Lake FL

Me and my wife had a wonderful time today at the Monroe Lake Slabfest here in Florida. More to come, but I thought I'd at least post the group photo. Some members had already left so the turnout was actually bigger than whats shown in the pic. Lots of members there, and everyone had a big time. Big fish were caught too. Like I said, more to come later. Posting from my tablet is not totally easy.

Sorry I had to run early, but I had a great time, and I was able to meet some new people. Thanks again to everyone for arranging this event!!! And another thank you to the fish for biting. They bit early and often.

A+ fishing day!!! A+ on fellowship!!! A+ on food!!! Thanks Slab and Mrs. Slab for taking time out of your weekend and being with us. Thanks to HS and all the folks that were busy with kitchen duty and manning the cookers to put on a feed like that. I can't say enough on how great it turned out and I've never seen so many HAPPY fishermen and ladies. The bite was HOT and BIG!!! That's the way a SLABFEST is supose to be. So many new faces and the return of some old ones. I'm sure I didn't get to talk with everyone. Maybe next time we should embarrass everyone and have them stand up and introduce themselves. I think this pic say it all........Huntinslabs and his daughter headed to the honey hole!!!
