    Default Melvern 1/5

After culling my last couple of reports decided to take day off
and go to Melvern. With this weather not much for a propane
guy to do but fish. Started about 8 and had a nice limit in the
livewell by 1130. Fished one spot but had to change collors
several times. White and chartruese and black and chartruese
worked best. Hope everyone is enjoying the weather! Thanks

Same results had 3 poles with dif.colors bang crappies till it slowed down change color then bang some more Bobby garland blue and white ,june bug and char.orange and char.and blue and char.turds worked all day. WT little over 39% one pile had over 20 keepers moved to a small pile pulled 6 to 10 turned them back. The deep channel packed with shad snaged some shad no crappie, strolled the channel edge no takers there so brush was the key today.

Glad you didn't get scared off and have a sense of humor about the "culling" lesson....good job and thanks for the report.
FAITH, FAMILY, FRIENDS & FISHING...... hopefully in that order but honestly, not always!
