Here's a boat build project I completed this past year with some help of some friends and family. Bought a Lowe 16/48 Jon boat for a brush boat, duck hunting boat and for fishing the river. It was in rough, weathered shape and had additions that just didn't work for me. Started by stripping the boat of everything to include a water logged, half rotted plywood deck installed in the bow. I stripped all stickers, decals and pressure washed the entire boat. Primed the aluminum and then added a two coats of Parker's duck boat paint. Applied roll on truck bed liner to the floor of the boat and then added two pieces of aluminum to the bow and rear seat of the boat. Installed pedestal bases by cutting the bench seats and installing steel angle. Sealed the holes with a tough epoxy and then carpeted.

In process. Basically a facelift. Its a 1991 354V. Changing the 20yr old carpet, replacing seats, replacing livewell plumbing, mounted battery charger, added battery trays for tm batteries, and at some point wetsanding gelcoat.
It is a solid boat--just needing a facelift.
