Default Stockton in the wind and a bad start

Started with the starting battery dead, could not raise the motor , got out jumper cables, raised motor, un loaded the boat dropped the trolling motor to check the trolling motor. about half power, been having a bit of trouble with the on board charger, it's getting old and I guess sometime in the last week it shot craps, anyway drifted arround the state park cove, looking for fish, could not use the trolling motor much cause I wanted to get back to the ramp at days end, so let the wind blow the boat arround and picked up one here one there, done this till 2 pm and called it a day, got the boat loaded and that was not easy in the wind. but with the electric winch it worked out ok.

now jig color was silver/chartruse, and it made a difference today, tried several colors and the only color I caught fish on was silver/chartruse, with or with out a nibble. 12 to 15 ft. deep over 30 ft. of water. pretty tough day but I have not been on the water for 6 days so I was pretty happy I got a mess.... 11 total. biggest was just a tad over 2lb. big ole male it turned out, did not know that till I got the sides off the rascal... ought to make some good eating.... so all I got to say is,,,, if you start out bad,,,, look for good things on the next.....

A gun, like any other source of power, is a force for either good or evil, being neither in itself, but dependent upon those who possess it
