Default Anyone have opinions on Grumman boats?

Well, I'm going to look at a Grumman tonite. Don't know much about them. It's a 16.5' fish n ski. Aluminum V w/ a 90 hp on it. I can let you all know more details when I see it. Just curious if anyone has information, insight, opinions of Grumman boats in general. Not too excited about the "ski" portion, but its worth looking at.

    Thanks for any input.

I too have a Grumman 14 footer loaded with everything the big boys have, almost.
I've owned it for years now and am extremely happy with it.

The first boat I owned was a Grumman 16' modified alluminum jon with a front and back deck. Great boat and still wished I had it today.

Yeah, you could use the boat that you have now to haul it around in. LOL
It is nice to have the best of both worlds, though. I admired both you and Jerry's boat, but it would still be nice to have a smaller boat for certain situations.

Grumman canoes are top notch; others in their line should be equally strong. Be aware of potential for corrosion (very small holes) in wetted areas on boat.

Got a 15 ft canoe that I just passed down to the kids. Never had the heart to sell it.

    Default ive got one

i bought a 15' set up as a bass boat last spring, deck front and back with a 40 on it.
i couldnt be happier with it.
it is a fairly flat bottom so it doesnt like rough lake water too well, but neither do i.
