Glad you got out and caught a few. Congrats.
Hit the rock for three hours again. Took my Dad with me and he put a whoopin' on me . he had two keepers, i had one. Two shorts and a fiesty largemouth. Channel break tight to brush. orange / char slabbuster (me) pumpkin/char slab slayer (dad) 15 -22 ft. One came out of 35 ft suspended over that huge brush pile the mdc put across from bridge port i the channel.
Wind blew like a b#T(h again. Cold enough to freeze the nuts off a jeep.
Funny deal on the way home. Saw a hat on the side of the road that looked like one i owned. stopped and ran back and sure enough had flown out of the boat. not sure if it flew out today or saturday. Guess i won't hang my hat on the throttle anymore. Been doing that for year, but big cross winds going to an from.
Happy New Year to you folks.
