    Default Table Rock 1/2

Hit the rock for three hours again. Took my Dad with me and he put a whoopin' on me . he had two keepers, i had one. Two shorts and a fiesty largemouth. Channel break tight to brush. orange / char slabbuster (me) pumpkin/char slab slayer (dad) 15 -22 ft. One came out of 35 ft suspended over that huge brush pile the mdc put across from bridge port i the channel.
Wind blew like a b#T(h again. Cold enough to freeze the nuts off a jeep.

Funny deal on the way home. Saw a hat on the side of the road that looked like one i owned. stopped and ran back and sure enough had flown out of the boat. not sure if it flew out today or saturday. Guess i won't hang my hat on the throttle anymore. Been doing that for year, but big cross winds going to an from.

Happy New Year to you folks.

The wind was terrible in St Louis area and yes it was cold, i don't know how you got your dad out there to go fishing? At least you caught some fish to make it worth it.

You are fortunate indeed. Late this month, the crappie will be up the river and more predictable.
