Yep....old dead eye missed a doe Thursday evening. Easy 80 yard shot but no sign of hitting the deer or anything. The doe ran straight at us..with the tail up. Definately no hit. She was torn up for a little while then she finally accepted the fact she missed.

Her hunting ethics really made me proud this evening. We had 5 deer come out under the stand this evening and headed toward the feeder. She put the scope on a big one, and it was getting pretty late and the light was fading fast. She looked, flipped the safety off...and the gun never went off. About 30 seconds later she said, "I can't shoot, I can't see her good enough to know I can make a good shot". I was more proud of her at that moment than if she had killed a big buck. That young lady is learning real fast how to do things right when it comes to deer hunting
